Here's a policy clarification- from Tim Bucknall

Via our desktop delivery service, we will send materials from the collections that we both own and administer - the ones in Jackson Library, Music Library, and storage. That means there are collections in our catalog for which we do not offer this service - TLC, TRC, Chemistry, IAR, MRC, etc. Of course, those folks are welcome to set up their own service, if they want to.

This has only come up once since we began offering desktop delivery, so I think this policy will have a negligible impact on our faculty and grad students.

From Mary K. - the policy isn't easy to find on our website and the similar term document delivery is sometimes used also for the Infotrieve service, which is things we don't own. - people need to do these DD requests using the interlibrary loan form that I've linked above. Once they use Novell login - document delivery is one of the options.
