The reader/scanner is working properly. Please remember that this is a jury rigged system and cannot keep a large number of scanned items in the program window at one time. If too may items are left in the window, the program will crash and all information will be lost. I recommend no more than 10 image in the Scanwrite window at one time, save them and then delete them form the program. You can only view the images with a viewer that handles that format (either Acrobat Reader for pdf or an image viewer for jpeg). Any photos or illustrations in an article will not be viewable. Instructions are attached to the monitor.
