Paperback collection relabelling

From Access Services - and a possibility if users are looking for a missing paperback - I would probably not have thought to look up there : the first line of the call number for books in the paperback collection is being changed from P-B to PAPERBACK. All of the ones that are not checked out have had a new PAPERBACK label placed over the P-B. Terry is going to run a report, probably next week, that will change the call numbers in the catalog. As the checked out ones return, we will send them to Cataloging for relabeling. We made this change because P-Bs are getting shelved in the PBs on T3 regularly. Also, we are going to transfer the responsibility for shelving the paperbacks from the desk students to the stacks students in January. We are hoping that the call number change clarifies the shelving location for them.
