Today I was approached by a patron looking for a movie. My first response was to use the DVD tab on the search bar. Alas the movie the patron was looking for was a VHS and did not appear after a DVD search.
I just wanted to make everyone aware (if you are not already) of the potential to give incorrect information about our library holdings. Had I not known that we did indeed have a VHS I might have told the patron that we do not have the video.

Great heads-up !! Although I still tape TV on VHS tape, I do tend to forget that we could have an item on tape but not DVD !!
