ILL, renewals, holds not yet available within WorldCat Local

Today Terry sent a message to jackson-l warning everyone that some functions are temporarily unavailable in WorldCat Local:

OCLC has made the necessary changes, and we are now pointing WorldCat Local to WMS for availability.

We are still working out the "fulfillment options" (Place Hold, Request ILL, etc.). I hope to have most of that worked out by the end of the week. It is quite detailed and must be entered online.

Unfortunately, we have discovered a problem with the "Set/reset password" functionality, so users are not yet able to log into Renew Items/My Account or place holds. OCLC is investigating and hopefully will have a fix soon. Until then, [the people working at a Checkout Desks] can renew items through the staff interface.

 

WorldCat Local Libguide - Almost up to date!

• For online renewal and accounts - I've got an invisible tab going with info and screenshots available so far and will publish as soon as I can get through the process of creating a pw

Kimberly is getting info about which patrons can do what online for the Borrowing - Non-UNCG patrons page. Plus is updating all sorts of other pages.
