ILL, document delivery, and campus book delivery temporarily unavailable

Hi all,

Cathy Griffith just sent this notice:

In addition to the loss of Gaylor, there is a technical issue involving ILLiad and OCLC that is preventing us from providing ILL, Campus and Document Delivery services.  The issue has been reported, and we are awaiting a resolution.  

So that we are not offering services that we cannot provide, the buttons that allow new requests from UNC and Libraries Worldwide on ILL eligible items in WorldCat have been temporarily removed.  A message has been placed on the ILL department and Delivery Services web pages that says "Until further notice ILL, Campus Delivery and Document Delivery services are suspended due to technical issues. We apologize for the inconvenience."  The ILL log in page is being worked on to replace the log in with the same message.  Additionally we are not supplying any loans to other libraries, and most requests placed last week have not been ordered.

We are hoping to hear back from OCLC soon in regards to the technical issue and are working on plans to re-institute all services after it is resolved.  I will notify everyone when we are ready to go again.

Liaisons, please forward this message to your departments and let them know that we are sorry for the service interruption.
