Slowness, delay in the catalog/red search box

Hi all,

OCLC just sent the following message.  They know that WorldCat Local (our current catalog and discovery service) and WorldCat Discovery (the new product from OCLC that isn't yet linked on the library home page) have both been slow.
WorldCat Discovery is experiencing intermittent delays in search response time and the display of availability information. We are working to isolate and resolve all issues as quickly as possible, and plan to implement a series of modifications to improve the situation. You should begin to see improvements later this week with additional developments that will provide the consistent search experience users expect.

We’re pleased to see many of you checking the recently released system status dashboard. This new tool is the primary location for WorldCat Discovery status information. We’ll fine-tune functionality in the coming months, so the most relevant alerts automatically share through the dashboard.
