Retired Faculty Emeritus Privileges

There's been some confusion in the past and lately about retired faculty borrowing privileges. Only retired faculty with Emeritus status are given continued access to the library's online material (ebooks, databases, etc). This came up yesterday and we were given some clarification from Terry:

It is my understanding that Emeritus faculty should have the same access to online resources as the rest of the faculty. That access is provided by use of the UNCG computing credentials to authenticate during the login  process.  As Emeritus you should have those credentials or be able to have them restored if you do not. You should work through your department chair or contact 6-Tech (336-334-8324) to request that access be restored.
