This question has been asked several times in chat. Here is an email from Sam, just in case you come across it:
So UNCG is out of license for a program called LockDown Browser which faculty/instructors use for proctoring in online courses. I think we got a chat about it this morning, but in case they come in again:
- We/the library have nothing to do with this
- Checking out a more recent computer or updating browsers will not fix the issue for the student
- Students need to put in a ticket with 6-tech or ideally, get in touch with professor about it
- Instructors need to contact their department ITC or 6-tech. Zoom is the alternative method for now until this issue is resolved: https://uncg.
