Article Galaxy Pay Per View

 Hi all,
Yesterday a patron chatted in looking for help getting full text of an article.  She'd clicked on a View Full Text link and was taken to a page that said Article Galaxy and required a log in (not an iSpartan account).

I checked with a couple of people for help and more information.

The info that I got from erhelp@uncg.edu is helpful:

Article Galaxy is a new pay per view service.  (The libraries buy an article when a patron needs it, the patron isn't charged). When a patron clicks on a View full text link that goes to Article Galaxy, the patron will see a request form:

A DOI or PMID is sufficient to generate a request. Otherwise, they should type the title, author, and other bibliographic information to request an article. Not all fields are required.

Turnaround time seems to vary.  Sometimes clicking Place Order leads to an immediate email with a link to the pdf, but sometimes it takes a few hours. Probably best to set expectations for several hours.

If you need assistance with this, please contact erhelp@uncg.edu

Thanks,

Lea
