See FYI below form Cathy - we need to be liberal about using the departmental card IMO. I hate to ask someone to add money to the chip, when it won't be good for long. They can get money transferred to the new system, and so can we, when cards expire. Mary

FYI...as of today the Superlab printers are operating on the new system; ours are still on the old chip system.

This situation complicates matters further. When someone asks about adding money to a card for printing, if they want to print in the Superlab, they can add money at the library Fill Station (as they can for photocopying in the Library. If they want to use Library printers, they need money on their chip. The ID Center is still adding money to chips when they are open.
