PubMed can now link to full text articles at UNCG. Yes, even off-campus. Three cheers for the new e-journal linking system and Beth B!
Patrons will need to:
a) create their own free "My NCBI" account w/PubMed
b) set UNCG as their "outside tool" in their "MyNCBI" account
c) start PubMed searches from a link through the library (databases > PubMed)
d) set "Display settings" (above search results) to abstract in order to see the UNCG symbol in a list of results

And yes there will be more info on health libguides quite soon and then more robust help documentation forthcoming as my library instruction and consults taper off.
As usual, please forgive any spelling and grammatical errors in my blog posts. You can have a long post, a lovely composition, or frequent updates from the health and life sciences librarian during the semester. But not all three :O
