Political Science Reference Mob

It is political science reference book time! That's right, THE psc class (PSC 327) that uses our reference volumes has started up and the students are already asking for the books they need.

Keep in mind only one of the works is online and that work only provides part of the information they need.

The final assignment is due December 1, but they have draft sections that will be submitted throughout the semseter. The big dates are September 15, October 6, and October 31. We will see increased interest in the print volumes during those periods.

Because of the high demand, I am going to put the most recent volume of each work at the reference desk. If a student asks to use a volume, remind the student to bring it back to the desk. I will tell them about this in their library session today.

The library guide covers most the resources they will need to do the two assignments (a research paper and a position paper). If you get a student from this class asking specific questions, it would definitely be helpful to ask to look at the assignment. And feel free to ask if you have questions.
