Jarrell Hall Room 032 Procedure

Yesterday morning there was a little mishap with the doors to 032, Jarrell Hall, being locked.  There was a class scheduled at 9:00 AM and the doors were still locked at 8:45 AM.  I have spoken with Mike and he has been in communication with the folks in charge of the locking/unlocking of the door.  Since the doors are on an automatic lock/unlock system, no one in the library has a "key" to get in.  If this happens, there are a couple procedures to follow:

• Inform someone at the Spartan Card Center in the EUC as that is where lock/unlock system for the room is controlled.
• If it is after-hours and/or the Spartan Card Center is closed, call the UNCG Campus Police Non-Emergency (334-5963) and let them know to send someone to unlock the room.

The door is supposed to be on a schedule daily of unlocking at 7:00 AM and locking at 10:00 PM.  However, there have been a few mishaps due to the EUC now scheduling events in 032 from time to time.  Just be prepared!
