Off campus access issues (DNS server/ no server found errors occurring)


This is an e-mail we received from Kate Hill yesterday, and I'll post it here because the problem still seems to be happening as of this morning:

"Just to let you know, ITS updated the DNS servers for campus and it seems to be taking a while to propagate across the entire campus system (including our servers for our proxy).  This means that people might have problems accessing resources remotely until it has worked its way through.  I will let you know when we get the heads up that that has occurred.  In the meantime, sadly, if you see issues like this being reported, the only thing we can do is wait :/"
