Since late last week, we've received reports from patrons encountering a blank screen when attempting to search the library catalog. This issue appears to be intermittent and does not affect all users. The root cause has not yet been identified.
We’ve reported the problem to our catalog vendor, and they are actively working on a resolution. Unfortunately, we do not have an estimated time for when the issue will be fixed.
In the meantime, the catalog search function seems to be working reliably on the reference desk computer and other library workstations.
If a patron knows the specific title or resource they’re looking for, staff can search the catalog on their behalf and provide a direct link to the item. Importantly, links to databases, research guides, and other resources—including proxied links—are still functioning normally. The issue is limited to the catalog’s discovery/search interface.
