changes in College Avenue desk - dial 4-4444

Just a quick update - we are making changes in the staffing for our desk at the College Avenue entrance. Our weekend guard, Chelsea Miller, accepted a full time position in the Police Department effective Nov. 1. This past Sunday was her last day as our weekend guard, and she will not be replaced by the Police Department. As we begin the transition of the guard desk to a service desk we are fortunate to have hired Laath Martin, a former Lead Desk Assistant. Laath will be here for training tomorrow and begin his shifts Friday afternoon. It is going to be particularly important to remember the campus emergency number of 4-4444 - we do NOT use 911. It is very rare that we have to make such calls but we might very occasionally have to do so.
