BB and T Collection
BB& T books have been returned to their home location, just outside of those new bathrooms on the second floor at the top of the main staircase up to Special Collections. The catalog still lists these as 1st floor Reading Room, but that should change soon.

Reading Room changes/current newspapers
The newspaper collection in the Reading Room has been reorganized. All titles now appear on the front sides for the 2 shelving units. The area behind them has been cordoned off for temporary storage of equipment and furniture.
Additionally, the length of time that some of the papers are retained is being changed. We will maintain the current and 2 previous months for Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and Greensboro News & Record; the current previous month for all others except The Chronicle (W-S) and the Carolina Peacemaker (GSO) for which we will keep the current and 3 previous months.
The Richmond Times Dispatch and Chicago Tribune are being cancelled, but they will continue to be displayed until we stop receiving them.
Also, all of the magazines that came with papers that we displayed separately beside the current issue of the paper are will be treated as periodicals. They will be shelved by title in the periodicals shelving. (Example: New York Times Magazine

Reading Room changes
The BB and T collection that used to reside at the top of the stairs on the second floor has now been moved to the Reading Room, where the audiobooks were formerly kept - right across from the REf. desk. The audiobooks are now located on the shelves where the DVDs are also housed - at the end of the first row, on the back side.
