Alternative Way to Add Cash to SpartanCard

In case you did not know :

1. When the SpartanCard Fill machine is out of order, students can add money to their card online. They must add a minimum of $5.00 with a Visa or Mastercard and there is no fee for this transaction.

Go to the SpartanCard website; it's pretty easy to figure out how to make an online deposit. Students have to log in using their iSpartan name/password.

Fill Stations on weekends

Fill Stations:
There are two Fill Stations (Library and Atrium) and they BOTH tend to be out-of-order on the weekends, either running out of guest cards or containing too much money needing emptying). We tell them to print using their Superlab money (if they still have their three free dollars worth) or email things to themselves or use the cash reimbursement card at the Circ Desk (cheaper - 6 cent doublesided, 4 cents single - than Reference, but more complicated) or our card in Reference (more costly - 10 cents per page - but easier) . If they want to do laundry, send them to the new, nice, private "University Laundromat" on 948 Walker Street/corner Tate Street , phone 336-617-0280, so they can use cash.

Spartan card

We were told this summer that UNCG folks would be able to use Blackboard to add value to their Spartan cards. This has been indefinitely delayed which is why you see long lines at our machine. At this point our machine is the only one available. Another should be added in the Atrium very soon and we'll let you know.

They can also go to the Spartan Card Center in EUC during business hours.
