Now that I have reassembled it please DO NOT try to load the stapler from the front. Open the cover on the back, slid out the spring loader, insert the staples (14 mm or 1/2") and push the loader back in until it locks.

Loading the heavy Duty Stapler at the Reference Desk
Now that I have reassembled it please DO NOT try to load the stapler from the front. Open the cover on the back, slid out the spring loader, insert the staples (14 mm or 1/2") and push the loader back in until it locks.
