New Scanner By CITI

Since this is a pretty frequent request I wanted to let everyone know that a simple flatbed scanner w/ a PC has been set up in the Info Commons area outside the CITI lab. It is a login machine so users must be UNCG-affiliated to use it. There is no charge since it doesn't print; users may email or download what they're scanning.

At this moment there is still an "out of order" sign on it awaiting some final documentation for staff. It should be removed in a day or so and we'll be all ready for business.

Scanning Instructions

Susan has written up instructions for using the batch scanner in my office. I placed a copy in the ref share --> Digital Media Folder. There are also copies in the vertical file on the computer desk (near the data stuff). If you need to use the batch scanner, please have a look at this guide. It is really helpful. I've also linked to the PDF on the Digital Media website. Flatbed instructions are coming soon!
