There has always been confusion about the TRC vs. the TLC, among students and faculty. Lately, there has been a rise in the number of non School of Ed students trying to check out our videos and laptops.
Will you please remind your staff of the differences between the two departments, in case they get questions about this? The TLC does circulate equipment to other departmental faculty and students (with letters from profs); however TRC only circulates to School of Education faculty and staff. If students have assignments dealing with videotaping they should go to TLC
From Mary - Karen asked me to please pass this along to everyone. And I'll add - if there is any confusion or uncertainty in sending someone to another campus facility, best to call first on behalf of the patron and make sure we're referring them correctly. THANKS!
