What happened to the library tutorial?

Ok, first of all-we have LOTS of library tutorials: http://library.uncg.edu/research/tutorials

But when a student tells you "I was supposed to do chapter 7 and 8 of the library tutorial, take a quiz, and email results to my instructor. Now the links don't work. What happened?"

Then you should know that the *big* modular library tutorial FIRST is gone. It has been replaced by the all new tutorial PATH: http://library.uncg.edu/tutorials (credits to Amy, Beth FW, Jenny Dale and many others). PATH also has quizzes and email capabilities, but the content is of course located in different places.

Chap 7 of the old tutorial included paraphrasing and plagiarism. PATH now has those topics in Module 8 (plagiarism) and Module 9 (paraphrasing).

Chapter 8 of the old tutorial had to do with general citation how-tos. PATH now covers that content in Module 10 (citing sources).

The tutorial is dead. Long live the tutorial!
