These books are used in a class assignment and are also available online. Note that CQ's Politics in America (call number JK1010 P64) is part of CQ Press Political Reference Suite and it's the 2008 edition instead of the Ref. 2010 edition - the catalog record doesn't link directly to it, use the CQ Link, and Almanac of American Politics (call num. is JK271 A530)is part of Lexis Nexis, where it's a pain to use, IMO, but can be searched by state name or other keywords. The most recent editions of both are in Ref, older ones in stacks. Let's keep these Ref copies at the desk for now - might ask next patron when assignment is due, I forgot to do that!
