The Poli Sci students have some assignments coming due (including my own due Thursday). They might be asking about APSR (or APSA or the Poli Sci style). It is on the Citation Guides style sheet and in print in ref (JK86.A4860 2001).
It is very much like Chicago/Turabian author-date, but with some eccentricities in the way the volume and issue look. Some of the profs are a bit hard core about those specifics, so be careful to use the guide!
