New Technology for Lending
There are now 6 digital flip video cameras, ca. 15 tripods and 3 additional voice recorders available for lending at the Circ desk in addition to the six cameras and ca. six voice recorders already in circulation. It probably still will not be enough to fill all of the demand and thus waiting lists will continue, but it should help to have some more and slightly different equipment. The flip video camera has a built-in USB that "flips" out at the side. It records videos for about 2 1/2 hours. The voice recorders are small, also have a built-in USB and will record audio for about 6 hours. The big tripods are primarily intended to accompany the cameras, which screw onto the top of the tripod.
