Borrowing privileges at other universites - NC A&T

From Access Services: a UNCG student was referred to A&T today to borrow a book of which our copy is checked out.  At A&T she was told she cannot borrow it because all of their books are due tomorrow and they do not lend to UNCG students over the break.  I am communicating with Mr. Spruill, their Head of Access Services, to see if he can make an exception so she can pick it up tomorrow.  I was told that he is the only person who can.  

In the meanwhile, please be aware of this situation over the break and try not to refer anyone to A&T to check out.  Also, keep in mind that we should tell everyone we refer that they should contact the library from which they plan to borrow before the visit to find out if they can borrow.

Marilyn and Fairey, please make sure the desk students know to avoid referring to A&T over the break and to remind patrons to check with the other library before traveling.
