A few of us are gearing up for the election season this semester. Melvina is setting up a registration table and will send out more information soon. OLSL is planning a Voting 101 event for September 10 at 12:00 pm where a member of Democracy NC and I will be presenting. Encourage students to attend!
Also please refer people to the library elections guide if they have questions about voting, the new voting law, or candidates: http://uncg.libguides.com/govinfo/elections I will be adding material as it become available. Feel free to send sites along if you find them.
Don't forget there have been quite a few changes to the voting law including no more same-day registration!
