Lots of events, visiting librarians tomorrow Fri 3/20

Hi all,

FYI on librarian events tomorrow!

• We are very excited that Courtney Young, the President of the American Library Association, will be visiting the University Libraries tomorrow. Please join us for her presentation from 10:30-11:30am on "The Importance of Libraries in Student Success".  This will take place in EUC-Kirkland.
• At 2pm Gerald Holmes (will be honored for) being named the 2014 ALA Achievement in Library Diversity honoree.   The reception will take place in the first floor Jackson Library Reading Room. Congratulations, Gerald!!
• You might encounter one of the health science librarians visiting EUC Claxton for the spring ANCHASL meeting. Please give them a warm UNCG welcome :) 
• NCLA conference planners will be meeting in lib216. 
• AND ULAC is meeting here at UNCG in EUC Dogwood so that members can attend Gerald's reception

We're going to be chockablock with visiting librarians and librarian administrators!

Interns, you could get an entire semester's worth of networking in one go :)
