Printing money in the drawer

I just opened the drawer at the high desk to find 12 $1 bills under the printing card! Eek! The change cup is there in the the drawer for convenience when making change for print jobs, but dollar bills should be brought to the tin behind Nick's desk. I understand that it gets busy in the afternoons and running back and forth to the office is not always convenient, but $12 is excessive. There are times when the desk may be unattended if both the librarian and intern are away helping other patrons and this drawer may not be monitored. Also, Robin from Admin upstairs periodically collects the money we get from printing and she gets it from the tin at Nick's desk. We don't need to keep this in two separate places. Please bring the money back to the office as you can, especially if you notice it building up.
