OED issue - more information

UPDATE: OED HAS BEEN FIXED AND IS NOW WORKING AGAIN.

Hi Everyone!

As you know, the OED database is not working right now. I figured out who the course instructor is. Her name is Mya Brown. More information is below.

"Yes, I am using that resource for my THR 432 Advanced Shakespeare course and for THR 490 Advanced Practicum, which is the course for all actors in my production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. I actually reached out via iMinerva earlier today to ask about the resource and I was informed that it is down. I asked if we would be notified once it is back online and the response was no but that you have a print copy available at the library. I have a total of 37 students who need access so I have directed them to use shakespeareswords.com but I would prefer the OED. Please do let me know if you have an alternative option or when the OED will be available again. A huge thank you for reaching out!"

So if someone comes to the desk or chat wanting to know about this, OED is still down (I wrote to ER Help to see if Mya can be notified when it's back up). But she's pointing them to shakeapeareswords.com so I'd suggest that we do the same in the meantime. Sarah is aware of the issue, as is ER Help.

Thanks!

Rachel
