Microform Reader/Scanner Problems

There was a problem last night with the computer set up with the Minolta reader. The error message was in the scanner program and stated that the image could be not acquired. When this occurs, reboot the computer while the microform reader is turned on in order for the computer to find the connection the the reader. Test the connection after restart by clicking the mouse on the screen. The scan window should open within the program.

To get the image centered in the reader window to scan into the computer, set the image size to 8.5 x 11. The default setting is custom and will move the scan window to the far left of the reader screen.
