Quirks with catalog notices

Just FYI, the new catalog sends a separate email to a patron's UNCG email address for every single item that is due soon or that is overdue.

No big deal for some patrons.  But anyone who 10 or more items due on the same day might feel overwhelmed by the number of email messages.

Luckily, the iSpartan email that we get from Google automatically bundles these messages together in a single email thread (unless the patron has gone to his/her ispartan email Settings and turned "Conversation View" OFF).  So, patrons who have NOT customized their iSpartan settings in this way will only see a single email thread.  They can click it open to see the message for each of the items that they have checked out.

Sorry I don't have an image of this to share.

Thanks,
Lea
