ERIT is working with ITS to resolve problems where the public machines are saying No logon servers - before reporting to ERIT, you should reboot the machine (try using restart and also try using the button on the CPU) and wait about 10 minutes and try again. This usually works, but if it doesn't then report.
Email 6-TECH (hdemail@uncg.edu) - no phone calls for a replacement cartridge or problems with printers. The email should include the model number of the printer, which is written on a square sticker in the upper right hand corner of the machine, and a description of the issue, including anything in the printer menu window. Also give them the Ref Dept. phone number as a contact and copy Nick on the message and if Nick's not here, other members of the desk team, including Mary, Mark, Susan and Liane. When putting an out of order sign on a printer - please add "Let Reference Desk know when the printer is repaired."
