Kanopy Changes

Kanopy’s recent popularity in the last few months has been great, but it has come at a price. In order to provide everyone with as many resources as possible, we have had to change how we access this wonderful tool. Browsing and searching within the platform will not change. Films already leased will be available until their expiration dates. Each lease is one year from the time it was triggered.



However, when you want to view a film, we haven't leased yet, the form below will appear instead. Please fill out the form and in your message, specify the use and course number (in-class screening, individual viewing for assignment, etc.) and a need by date. Once the request has been received, the librarian will make a decision on whether or not to acquire a 1-year lease to the film. They may email you for additional information, if necessary.

note: You need to make your request AT LEAST 3 working days before you need the film – a week is better.
