Pat Bone-atar

ROI has a skeleton available to UNCG students to study anatomy. The process for using ‘Pat Bone-atar’ is informal:
- The student must leave their Spartan ID card (or other photo ID) which will be kept in the designated Pat!!! pocket (in the drawer with the print card) until Pat makes it back to the desk.
- The “check-out” period is 1-hour, but students may keep longer if nobody else is waiting.
- Make a note of the date and the time Pat’s borrowed, and when they’re returned. (This is only to keep track of usage, there is no need to write down the student’s name or any other info.)
There is additional study material that goes with Pat so make sure and ask if they want it. It’s on the low desk with the citation books -- a very oversized folio.

Pat may not leave the library, but may go anywhere within it.

Things to note:
Access Services/The Check-out Desk has nothing to do with Pat.
Pat’s limbs are made to come off, but they reattach easily, so if they come off accidentally, there’s no need to panic or for the student(s) to panic.
Pat is genderfluid and uses all pronouns. :)
