CINAHL is giving a certificate error

 Hi all,

Library links are giving a certificate error when you try to log into CINAHL.  Brown has been working on this and Marcie should be able to fix the links later.

For now, here are various options for getting people into CINAHL:

a. If there's an Advanced button or a way to bypass the warning, be brave and just click through the unsafe warning to get into CINAHL

b. Get into CINAHL from a different Ebsco database, such as Academic Search Complete. Above the search boxes there's a Choose databases link that you can use to select CINAHL:

c. Use this URL: https://login.libproxy.uncg.edu/login?url=http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?authtype=ip,uid&custid=s9268655&profile=ehost&defaultdb=ccm&groupid=main

Why am I posting this on a blog, when the problem will likely already be resolved before you read the post?  Brown, one of our intrepid IT people, says we're likely to see more errors like this as library links are transitioned from on-campus proxy to the NC LIVE proxy.  I think it could be helpful to see an example of how to work through a situation like this.

Cheers,

Lea
