The menu for public printing now offers the option of Jackson Color on SOME computers (if you click on change preferences) - these jobs can only be printed at the printer next to the CITI. Black and white is now listed as Jackson Black and White. The color jobs won't show up on the menus for other printers andit is .20 for single sided and .38 for double sided. Eventually, all computers will offer this option - they have to be updated one by one. - Note that there are some options like One Note that don't work at all. We still don't have the free prints that they get in the SuperLab.
If we use our department card, we will charge .50 for all color copies - and .10 for black and white, even though the actual cost for card users is .04 for single sided black and white and .06 for double sided - and color is .20 for single and .38 for double sided. Encourage anyone concerned about the prices to purchase a card for $1.00 which can be reused. For emergency situations, I am not concerned if you give away the occasional free copy - ask people nicely to just pay us the next time they are in the Library.
